VIDEO OVERVIEW
ELIGIBILITY
All Kobe Basketball Academy Campers must be boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 18 years old. Campers may not be high school graduates.
DAY CAMPERS
Check-in: 1pm to 3:30pm on July 1st.
Day Campers participate in all the activities of the camp at a reduced rate of $600. Day campers commute to the camp each day. Day Campers should bring all
the necessary gear and apparel each day in an athletic bag. All Day Campers will be required to report each day at 8:45am and can be picked up at approximately
9:00pm. Day Campers have the right to eat breakfast daily if they choose to and are required to eat lunch and dinner at the dining hall with Overnight Campers.
If the camper chooses to eat breakfast with Overnight Campers, drop off time at the cafeteria should be such that the camper has sufficient time for breakfast.
Day campers should not bring watches, radios, MP3 players, telecommunications devices, automobiles and other items.
The Kobe Basketball Academy will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
OVERNIGHT CAMPERS
Check-in: 1:00 to 3:30pm on July 1st.
Shuttle service to and from camp will be provided from Santa Barbara Airport only.
Overnight Campers must bring the following to camp: towels, washcloths, personal hygiene items, sheets, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, basketball footwear, socks, shorts,
t-shirts, warm clothing (Sweat suit, hooded sweatshirt, etc.) athletic bag and alarm clock. Overnight Campers should also bring a change of clothes for each day and/or detergent for washing clothes. It is recommended that each campers apparel is marked with the persons name. Overnight campers should not bring watches, radios, MP3 players, televisions, telecommunications devices, automobiles, computers and/or other items. The Kobe Basketball Academy will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If a camper cancels before June 10th, the camper will receive a refund less a $200 administration fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations if the cancellation occurs after June 10th.

ROOMMATE REQUESTS
All roommate requests MUST be made on or before June 10th. Any requests made after June 20th will not be guaranteed. Kobe Basketball Academy will make every effort to accommodate camper roommate requests. However, there will be no roommate request granted on registration day.
DISCIPLINE
Violations of camp regulations such as willful damage to UCSB property and inappropriate behavior deemed detrimental to the camp and campers will result in immediate dismissal from the Kobe Basketball Academy. There will be no refund of registration fees should a camper be dismissed from camp.
LOCATION & FACILITIES
Kobe Basketball Academy will be conducted on the beautiful campus of UC Santa Barbara. Located in Santa Barbara California near the beach communities of Goleta and Isla Vista.
Traveling from the South:
Take the 101 Freeway to Airport/UCSB exit (Highway 217) approximately eight miles north of Santa Barbara to the campus East Gate.
Traveling From the North on the 101 Freeway:
Take the Storke Road/Glen Annie Road exit off U.S. 101 (approximately twelve miles north of Santa Barbara). Turn right on Storke Road and proceed two miles to El Colegio Road. Turn left on El Colegio Road and proceed to the campus West Gate entrance.

INSURANCE & MEDICAL CARE
Campers must provide their own medical insurance. Professional medical trainers are on duty at all times. Doctors are on constant call and hospital facilities are readily accessible. Because of the rigorous daily schedule, each camper should come to camp in excellent condition. Every conceivable effort is made to protect the campers health and safety through the extensive training of our medical staff, constant inspection of equipment, and supervision. Cost of treatment of injuries and hospitalization for illness or injuries while attending the Kobe Basketball Academy will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the participant. Any Insurance carried by the parent or guardian may be used to defray such medical and hospital costs. The camp staff assumes no responsibility for accidents or illness. We will not accept a camper with pre-existing medical problems unless we have been notified prior to registration. Please fill in the proper information on the application. The camper will not be admitted to the camp without the proper insurance information and signature of parent or guardian. Should he/she require any special medical attention or is required to take any special medicine, the camp director requires that you document such needs. Please attach such information to your camp application.
Kobe will be on-site conducting lectures, instructing, interacting with campers and demonstrating basketball drills. Each camper will receive a team photo with Kobe and one signed personal autograph from Kobe. No non-NBA licensed Adidas items will be signed. Kobe Basketball Academy will not be responsible for lost or stolen signed or unsigned items and paraphernalia.
